Job Summary

As a Relationship Manager, Priority at Standard Chartered Bank, you’ll position your branch as a top-tier retail sales and service outlet, delivering superior client experiences. You’ll manage Priority client portfolios, drive asset and liability growth, ensure compliance, and strengthen the bank’s brand through high service standards.

Financial & Sales Responsibilities

  • Achieve asset and liability growth targets set in the Job Objective.
  • Manage the assigned Priority portfolio through effective relationship management.
  • Expand the Priority client base and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Organize and participate in sales promotions, campaigns, and events.
  • Ensure cost control and optimize operational efficiency.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with AML, FATCA, and Reputation Risk policies.
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and audit readiness.
  • Handle documentation for Retail Banking products and dormant accounts.
  • Assist in loan renewals, overdraft adjustments, and service inquiries.
  • Act as BOSM or Client Service Executive when required by authority.

Service Quality & Customer Experience

  • Deliver exceptional service to Priority clients.
  • Maintain and improve branch service quality as measured by NPS.
  • Record and track client complaints via CEMS for prompt resolution.

People & Leadership

  • Foster open communication and a collaborative team culture.
  • Promote motivation and teamwork aligned with the bank’s core values.

Key Stakeholders

Head – Client Relationships, Product & Segment Heads, Compliance, Legal, Credit, Client Experience, and existing/prospective clients.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
  • 6–8 years of experience in retail or relationship banking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
