1. Officer Quality Assurance

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to support quality assurance activities through product and process inspections, evaluation of raw material and packaging materials, ensuring consistent product quality as per standard specification and compliance requirement. This role also supports quality assurance systems, documentation, audits, compliance and cross-functional collaboration to uphold product integrity, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence according to the time management.

Responsibilities:

To perform and manage quality assurance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring quality of in-process samples and finished products through quality inspection protocols.
To conduct physical and chemical testing of incoming raw materials and packaging materials as per standard specifications before approval for production use.
To ensure up-to-date specification sheets for all raw materials and packaging items in coordination with R&D and procurement.
To identify product/process deviations, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
To ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all quality-related activities and assist in the implementation of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 17025 etc.), including document control and audit readiness.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Supply Chain and others) to resolve quality issues, optimize process parameters and ensure alignment between quality requirements and operational goals.
To analyse quality-related customer complaints, assist in investigations, and provide feedback and improvement plans.
To ensure regular calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory instruments in accordance with standard protocols.
To maintain retention samples, batch-wise quality records, and inspection logs to ensure traceability and audit compliance.
To conduct regular process audits and hygiene audits to ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Requirements:

B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry from a well-recognized university.
1-2 years of experience in quality assurance in chemical/paint/testing laboratories/ powder coating/emulsion-related industry will be preferred.

2. Officer Production & Maintenance PC

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to manage shift-based production activities and preventive maintenance, ensuring optimal resource utilization while adhering to safety and quality standards at the Powder Coating Plant of Berger.

Responsibilities:

To execute shift operations in alignment with daily and weekly production plans.
To perform production-related transactions and reporting in SAP.
To plan and schedule preventive maintenance using SAP and execute the tasks physically.
To collaborate with the Maintenance Department to reduce downtime and maintenance costs through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
To maintain machine health cards, prepare monthly breakdown reports, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
To troubleshoot and resolve automation-related challenges in a timely manner.
To maximize efficiency in manpower, material usage, and machine operation.
To monitor and report on key production parameters including Productivity, Processing cost, Yield and batch variance, Loss percentage etc.
To ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a well-recognized university.
1-5 years of experience in a relevant field will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of SCADA, PLC, or DCS systems be an advantage.
Understanding of industrial production processes, machinery, and maintenance best practices.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.

3. Officer Production PC

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to execute production operations efficiently, ensuring optimal use of resources, and maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards at the Powder Coating Plant of Berger.

Responsibilities:

To execute shift-wise production operations in alignment with daily and weekly production plans.
To ensure timely issuance and utilization of raw materials as per process orders.
To perform production transactions and reporting activities using SAP.
To optimize resource utilization including manpower, materials, and machinery.
To monitor and maintain the availability of production consumables by tracking spare parts and consumables inventory.
To ensure that all production activities comply with ISO standards and quality protocols.
To track and improve key production metrics such as Productivity, Processing Cost, Yield and Batch Variance, Right-First-Time, and Loss Percentage.
To ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote a culture of workplace safety.
