Position: Merchandiser  
Vacancy: 4  
Job Description / Responsibilities  

  • Communicate buyer tech packs, samples, and order requirements clearly to the factory.  
  • Ensure timely approval of samples (Proto, Fit, PP, and Shipment samples).  
  • Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.  
  • Resolve any issues related to quality, trims/accessories, or production delays.  
  • Conduct periodic factory visits to assess production and compliance. Assist in cost negotiation, ensuring margin targets.  
  • Follow up for buyer approvals and implement required changes promptly.  
  • Update management/team with regular production status reports and highlight delays or bottlenecks.  
  • Maintain a tracker for all styles and coordinate delivery schedules.  
  • Work closely with the design, QA, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of information.  
  • Team player. Able to work well under pressure and deliver according to deadlines.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills.  
  • Basic knowledge of garment/textile/fashion manufacturing processes.  
    Educational Requirements  
  • Educational Qualification in a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology.  
  • Good Communication Skills.  
    Skills Required  
  • Merchandising, Garments Merchandising.  
    Experience Requirements  
  • 2 to 6 years.  
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House.
