Position: Planning Officer – Garments Industry

Responsibilities:
Production Planning: Collaborate with various departments to create production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer demands, ensuring timely delivery while optimizing resources.
Capacity Assessment: Analyze the production capacity and capabilities of different departments, identify bottlenecks, and work with relevant teams to enhance efficiency.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure they are within optimal ranges, preventing stockouts or overstock situations.
Order Tracking: Track the progress of orders and ensure they are moving smoothly through the production process, taking necessary actions to resolve any delays.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to gather insights, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance production processes.
Resource Allocation: Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials effectively to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to streamline operations and reduce production lead times.
Communication: Maintain effective communication with various teams, including production, supply chain, and management, to ensure a smooth workflow and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. A relevant Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 2/3 years Previous experience in production planning within the garments industry is highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with different teams and stakeholders.
Time Management: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with production planning software and data analysis tools is advantageous.
Adaptability: The garments industry can be fast-paced and dynamic, so adaptability and flexibility are essential traits.
