About the Program
The Management Trainee Program (MTP) offered by Summit Alliance Port Limited (SAPL) and Ispahani Summit Alliance Terminals Limited (ISATL) is a structured 12-month development journey combining hands-on operational training with structured theoretical learning. Trainees undergo four evaluations throughout the year, and upon successful completion, are confirmed as permanent employees in Bangladesh’s logistics and off-dock industry.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates from any discipline — BBA/MBA, Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics preferred.
- Willingness to work in yard and warehouse operational environments.
- Must be willing to be permanently posted in Chattogram.
- Strong analytical ability; MS Excel skills preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must join full-time from 1 February 2026.
- Age not exceeding 26 as of 1 January 2026.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist day-to-day operations of the Container Freight Station and yard.
- Monitor documentation and operational processes.
- Coordinate with Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Surveyors, Customs & Yard teams.
- Support reporting, data recording, and MIS updates.
- Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and safety protocols.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager.
Compensation
BDT 30,000 (gross per month) during the 12-month MT period.
Upon completion, salary will follow company policy for regular employees.
