Job Overview
The Partnership Management Expert – Content Business will lead strategic partnerships with local and global streaming platforms to expand Grameenphone’s digital content ecosystem. The role focuses on securing, integrating, and optimizing content partnerships that enhance customer experience, drive revenue, and keep Grameenphone competitive in the evolving digital content space.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute partnership strategies, ensuring every collaboration aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and long-term digital vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential content partners aligned with GP’s strategic goals.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with decision-makers at local and global content/streaming platforms.
- Negotiate partnership terms and commercial agreements to maximize mutual value.
- Coordinate cross-functional onboarding (product, tech, legal, marketing) to ensure smooth integration of partner content.
- Maintain regular communication with partners to address issues, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen collaboration.
- Develop training/support materials to help partners understand GP’s ecosystem and customer base.
- Define and track KPIs and performance metrics for each partnership.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews with partners, sharing insights and improvement plans.
- Leverage customer data, market trends, and competitive benchmarks to optimize partnerships.
- Establish continuous feedback loops with partners for joint optimization and best practice sharing.
- Design and execute co-branded initiatives, joint campaigns, and engagement programs.
- Proactively manage conflicts and resolve partnership issues to maintain a healthy working relationship.
- Scan the market for emerging content providers and innovative partnership models.
- Evaluate and prioritize potential partners based on strategic fit, demand, and trends.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Project Management / Agile certification is an added advantage.
- Understanding of telco-digital products, product lifecycle & GTM, and technology capabilities is preferred.
- Good grasp of competition landscape, regulatory environment, consumer insight, and global industry benchmarks.
Experience
- 4–6 years in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances.
- Experience within telecom or digital content/streaming industry is highly preferred.
- Exposure to content industry ecosystems and enterprise-level partnership models.
- Hands-on experience in business strategy development and execution.
- Comfortable conducting analysis using datasets to drive decisions.
