Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and capable professional to drive sales, revenue growth, and manage distribution channels within a designated geography. The ideal candidate will lead a sales team, strengthen retail channels, and ensure business excellence through strategic market management.
Key Accountabilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage Territory Officers and Sales Managers, including hiring, training, and performance supervision.
- Sales Growth: Achieve area sales targets through effective product distribution and retail network expansion.
- Partner Management: Onboard and support distributors and key retailers to ensure clear understanding of company goals and expectations.
- Sales Planning & Forecasting: Develop area sales plans, quotas, and budgets; monitor and adjust strategies as required.
- Market Analysis: Track trends, competition, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure policy adherence and provide timely, accurate reports.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business or a relevant field from a reputed university.
- Experience managing distribution houses is highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry.
- Analytical thinker capable of making data-driven decisions.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Internet applications.
- Strong sales and marketing abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable results.
