Senior Territory Manager

Job Purpose
The Senior Territory Manager role is designed to drive sustainable sales growth and strengthen Unilever’s market presence through strong distributor, retailer, and field sales relationships. You will ensure operational excellence, product visibility, and category execution while developing a motivated, high-performing sales force that delivers impact across territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Target Achievement: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Market Coverage: Ensure optimal outlet coverage and route efficiency.
- Distributor Management: Oversee distributor performance, inventory, and financial hygiene.
- Retail Execution: Ensure product availability, visibility, and promotional compliance.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate field sales teams for top performance.
- Category Plan Execution: Implement plans across markets and monitor results.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure policy adherence and timely field reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of sales or distribution experience (preferably in FMCG/general trade).
- Proven ability to manage sales targets and retail/distributor operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience managing field sales teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of route-to-market strategies or trade marketing.
- Experience in category execution and in-market promotions.

- Location: Office-based with extensive field travel.
- Contract Type: Full-time, permanent.
- Compensation: Competitive as per Unilever’s Work Level 1B policy.
- Mobility: Extensive travel within assigned territory required.
- Eligibility: Must have valid authorization to work in Bangladesh.
