BRAC Bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the position of Trainer, Learning Academy within its Human Resources Division.

Purpose of the Job

The Trainer, Learning Academy will combine strong banking/financial services experience with a passion for learning and facilitation. The role is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating practical, business-relevant learning interventions across the Bank's Functional Academies.

The ideal candidate will be a banking professional who can translate real workplace experience, products, processes, policies, and regulatory requirements into engaging learning experiences that build employee capability and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led training, workshops, boot camps, onboarding, and other learning interventions across assigned Functional Academy/Academies.
Facilitate classroom, virtual, hybrid, and experiential learning using adult-learning principles and learner-centered methods.
Deliver role-based learning journeys aligned with Academy curriculum and business capability requirements.
Facilitate Banking Foundation programs for newly recruited employees and support practical, simulation-based learning.
Use real banking cases, examples, simulations, role plays, problem-solving activities, and workplace scenarios to make learning practical and relevant.
Develop and deliver learning interventions on relevant banking domains such as:

Retail/Branch Banking
SME and Sales
Credit
Trade Finance
Foreign Exchange
Treasury
Risk
Compliance
AML/CFT
Digital Banking
Customer Experience

Translate complex banking concepts, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements into clear, learner-friendly content.
Design and update facilitator guides, presentations, participant materials, case studies, simulations, assessments, quizzes, and job aids.
Conduct pre-assessments, post-assessments, knowledge checks, and practical evaluations while providing actionable learner feedback.
Maintain accurate training, assessment, certification, and completion records.
Use participant feedback, assessment results, and business inputs to continuously improve learning interventions.
Stay updated on banking practices, Bangladesh Bank regulations, industry trends, adult learning, instructional design, and learning technology.
Use digital learning, microlearning, LMS tools, simulations, gamification, and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve learning effectiveness.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning interventions through learner performance, assessment results, capability improvement, and Academy performance outcomes.

Key Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, CSE, or a related discipline.

Certifications

Candidates do not need to hold all certifications; relevance and demonstrated application will be considered.

Train-the-Trainer (TTT) / Certified Trainer / Professional Trainer certification from a recognized institution.
CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or equivalent professional L&D certification.
Instructional Design / Learning Design certification, particularly ADDIE-based programs.
Adult Learning / Facilitation / Experiential Learning certification.
Coaching, mentoring, or workplace facilitation certification will be an advantage.

Experience

Preferably 3–6 years of relevant professional experience, with significant experience in banking or financial services.
Hands-on banking experience in one or more functional areas such as:

Branch Banking
Retail Banking
SME/Sales
Credit
Trade Finance
Operations
Compliance
Risk
Digital Banking
Customer Experience

Demonstrated experience in training delivery, facilitation, coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, or functional capability development.
Prior experience as a full-time trainer is not mandatory if the candidate has strong banking expertise and evidence of training/facilitation capability.

Technical & Functional Competencies

Ability to connect banking knowledge with business objectives, customer needs, and employee capability requirements.
Proficiency in MS Suite/Adobe Suite and virtual learning platforms.
Familiarity with LMS/digital learning tools and core banking systems such as FINACLE or equivalent will be an advantage.
Comfortable using AI tools for research, content development, learning design, and productivity.
