PMI is looking for a hands-on Electronic Technician with a passion for precision, reliability, and continuous improvement. The role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the technical standards of production equipment to meet quality and performance goals.
Preventive & Planned Electrical Maintenance
- Perform electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, reactive, preventive, planned, and subassembly repairs, in line with procedures to ensure equipment availability.
- Support production teams during brand and format changes.
- Maintain equipment calibration according to standard settings.
Installation & Equipment Modification
- Participate in equipment installations and modifications, following change management procedures to ensure timely availability.
Troubleshooting & Production Support
- Anticipate and resolve issues during production to maintain continuity and improve equipment efficiency.
- Collaborate in cross-functional troubleshooting for critical process failures.
Spare Parts Management
- Ensure tools and instruments are in good condition and properly used.
- Standardize machine settings and align with spare parts kits to optimize usage.
- Use SAP Materials Management to check spare part availability.
Technical Documentation
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including machine settings and troubleshooting guides, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Communication & Collaboration
- Work closely with production teams and support departments.
- Accurately complete forms and input data into systems for traceability and equipment intervention records.
- Monitor shift results through analysis of production and quality data.
Requirements
- Minimum Vocational High School or Associate Degree/Diploma in Electronics.
- 2–3 years of experience as an Electronic Technician, preferably in FMCG or similar industries.
- Strong basic technical knowledge in electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC language, wiring, and P&ID diagrams.
- Knowledge of IWS (Integrated Work Systems) is a plus.
- Basic English proficiency (able to read documents and receive training in English).
- Computer literacy (SAP and Microsoft Office).
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule & Location
- Full-time on-site work arrangement with plant facility based in Dhaka (60 kms from the city center).
- Must be able to work on a shifting schedule.
