Specialist, Account Management – Future Talent Pipeline (Bangladesh)

foodpanda is proactively building a talent pipeline for upcoming Account Management opportunities. Shortlisted candidates will be prioritized as suitable opportunities arise.

The role focuses on managing a portfolio of partner accounts, driving account revenue, providing operational support, monitoring performance, and achieving commercial and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Revenue Growth

• Manage and grow the revenue of each assigned account.
• Take ownership of the care and management of a portfolio of partner accounts.
• Provide operational support when required.
• Monitor account performance metrics and ensure compliance with foodpanda’s operational standards.

Telesales & Commercial Performance

• Conduct phone-based sales as a core part of the role.
• Meet and/or exceed expected daily productivity targets in terms of calls and sales.
• Handle objections effectively, demonstrate persuasiveness, create urgency, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Documentation & Operations

• Meet requirements related to documentation accuracy, partner approval, and systems processing.
• Identify and resolve problems by providing solutions aligned with company offers.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in a client management role.
• Proven track record in Account Management with a history of achieving commercial targets.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
• Comfortable making outbound calls through digital communication tools for extended periods, as this is a 100% telesales role.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write Traditional Mandarin or Cantonese is an added advantage.
• Data-sensitive and sales-minded.
• Comfortable using online business tools such as Google applications.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Target-oriented, resilient, and a team player with a willingness to learn.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in operational processes.
