The Norwegian Refugee Council is hiring a Finance Manager for its Bangladesh mission in Dhaka to lead financial planning, budgeting, controls and compliance with donor and Bangladesh legal requirements.

What you will do

  • Line management of finance staff: performance, workforce planning, recruitment and development
  • Finance support, supervision and training of staff with financial responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with policies, donor and auditor requirements and Bangladesh legal requirements
  • Implement financial systems, routines and procedures; budget control and cashflow monitoring
  • Provide financial reports and analysis and implement the anti-corruption policy

What you will bring

  • Senior financial management experience in a humanitarian or recovery context
  • Proficiency in computer software and modern accounting systems
  • Familiarity with the financial operating context in Bangladesh
  • English fluency, written and verbal
  • Legal eligibility to work in Bangladesh (no work permit or visa sponsorship)
