Area Sales Executive (Industrial Gases, Packaged)

Linde Bangladesh is hiring an Area Sales Executive for packaged industrial gases to plan and drive sales and service in a territory, grow the customer base and keep market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the business strategy into a local plan and guide sales and service activities in the territory
  • Keep business data up to date for short, mid and long term forecasts
  • Track competitors, find prospects and promote new products and applications
  • Monitor credit collection and visit customers, resellers, retailers and sales centres regularly
  • Handle customer complaints and appoint resellers and agents
  • Support the Regional Sales Manager on revenue and expense planning; coach and evaluate reporting staff

Requirements

  • Graduate Engineer, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical; an MBA is an advantage
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large or multinational organisation
  • Experience in chemical industries or gas
  • Strong communication, negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Analytical and financial skills; knowledge of B2B product marketing and sales tools
