Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to conduct the relevant commercial activities starting from collaborating with different stakeholders to the execution of import/export processes and everything in between while complying with the policies of the Company.
Responsibilities:
To manage the commercial activities by lawful execution of import & export processes in a cost-effective manner.
To manage the movement of products/material/equipment in and/or out of the country following organizational and other relevant laws, policy & procedures.
To coordinate with the Vendor, Insurance Companies & Banks to establish LC/LCA on time.
To collaborate with C&F agents, Bank(s), Insurance Companies, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Transporters, Inspection Companies, and other relevant stakeholders to release consignments on time.
To design a material delivery plan for ensuring the availability of materials.
To develop vendors for better freight negotiation and cost competitiveness.
To update supplier accreditation in the supplier database as per the code of conduct of Berger.
To monitor and measure the activities of C&F agents and evaluate their performance.
To ensure the input of cost components against all the purchase orders which will help to reflect proper product costing in SAP.
Requirements:
BBA or B.Sc from a well-reputed university.
At least 2 years of experience in relevant fields will be preferred.
