Senior Field Operations Associate - Infrastructure

IOM Bangladesh is hiring a Senior Field Operations Associate for its Infrastructure Unit in Cox’s Bazar to lead field implementation of construction and site rehabilitation projects in the Rohingya refugee response.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate field implementation of Infrastructure Unit projects and report progress
  • Supervise, train and guide field staff on construction works
  • Monitor construction quality against technical specifications and recommend corrections
  • Guide teams on BoQ, scheduling, tendering, specifications and contract administration
  • Take part in tender evaluations and liaise with government counterparts, partners and contractors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or High School diploma with seven years
  • Experience implementing civil infrastructure and community based projects
  • Experience with international organisations or NGOs and camp site development is an advantage
  • AutoCAD and QGIS proficiency is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and Bengali; working knowledge of the Chittagonian dialect
