Corporate Communication Director

Banglalink is hiring a Corporate Communication Director to own the group strategic narrative for Banglalink and its ventures and to lead policy, regulatory and investment communication, crisis management and the communication team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the group strategic narrative for Banglalink and its ventures, including VEON’s USD 1 bn investment story
  • Set and govern brand and communication architecture across Banglalink, Muktopay, Nova, ICT Company, TechVan and the Starlink partnership
  • Lead policy, regulatory and investment communication with Regulatory and Corporate Affairs
  • Build financial-services-grade disclosure and spokesperson governance for Muktopay and Nova
  • Lead portfolio-wide issues and crisis management
  • Position the CEO, venture leaders and VEON leadership as national digital-economy voices
  • Lead media, digital reputation, measurement, the agency roster and the communication team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputed UGC-approved or international university; Master’s in Communications, Journalism, Business or Public Policy preferred
  • 15+ years in corporate communication, public affairs or media, including 5+ years heading the function in a large, multi-business or regulated organization
  • Banking, fintech or telecom exposure strongly preferred
  • Credible engagement with government, regulators and policymakers
  • Crisis leadership and disclosure governance in regulated sectors
  • People and agency leadership; excellent written and spoken Bangla and English
