DBA Lead / Specialist Engineer, Mukto Pay

Banglalink’s digital payments business Mukto Pay is hiring a DBA Lead in Dhaka to run its production databases with 24x7 support.

DhakaDeadline: 5 November 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer all production database platforms end to end with 24x7 on-call rotation
  • Run high availability: GaussDB cluster replication, PostgreSQL streaming replication with Patroni
  • Own backup, restore and disaster readiness with scheduled restore drills
  • Enforce database security, access approval, encryption, masking and audit logging
  • Tune performance and plan capacity; keep audit-ready runbooks for Bangladesh Bank inspection

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related
  • 4 to 7 years of hands-on DBA work in banking, MFS, telecom or high scale platforms
  • Huawei GaussDB or strong Oracle background; production PostgreSQL
  • Strong SQL with Bash or Python automation
  • OCP, HCIP GaussDB, PostgreSQL or ITIL certification highly preferred
