Role Overview

icddr,b is hiring a Programme Manager, Coordination to lead planning, coordination, and implementation of public health research projects under the Mucosal Immunology and Vaccinology Unit (MIVU), ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, donor requirements, and scientific standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and execution of field activities for research and intervention projects
  • Ensure implementation quality aligned with organizational strategies and donor requirements
  • Collaborate with internal departments including HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT
  • Manage stakeholder and donor coordination across national and international partners
  • Analyze project data and support monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Prepare technical and financial reports for donors and management
  • Review systems and recommend process improvements for efficiency
  • Develop tools and frameworks to support project implementation
  • Train and guide implementation teams across field locations
  • Ensure compliance with timelines, standards, and quality benchmarks

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: BDT 173,494 (consolidated)
  • Festival bonus and income tax covered by icddr,b
  • Subsidized canteen facilities
  • Transport and daycare support (subject to availability)

Education

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, or relevant field
  • Project Management certification will be an advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in programme/project management
  • Experience in public health projects within national or international organizations

  • Strong stakeholder coordination and project management
  • Data analysis, reporting, and monitoring expertise
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects
