Job Overview
Robi Axiata PLC is looking for a Consultant, QA Automation to design, develop, and scale a unified quality assurance automation framework for customer-facing digital platforms including My Robi, My Cirkle, and web platforms.
The role focuses on mobile and web automation, AI-assisted visual QA, functional reliability, design compliance, and creating sustainable QA automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Appium and WebdriverIO-based automation frameworks using Page Object Model.
- Build mobile automation solutions for My Robi and My Cirkle platforms.
- Extend automation coverage to web platforms using Playwright or Selenium.
- Automate critical customer journeys including login, recharge, payment, and pack purchase.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for regression and smoke testing.
- Monitor automation stability and reduce manual regression efforts.
- Perform functional and automated UI testing across digital platforms.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, UX/UI, QA, and UAT teams.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputed institution/university.
Professional Competencies
- Functional, UI, regression, and automated testing knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration ability.
- Ability to document processes and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
- Ability to establish scalable QA automation practices.
Required Technical Skills
Automation Frameworks
Hands-on experience with Appium, WebdriverIO, Node.js/JavaScript, Playwright, or Selenium.
AI & Visual QA
Experience with AI APIs/models such as Claude, Gemini, or equivalent for visual quality assurance.
Design QA
Knowledge of Figma API, pixel-diffing, and visual regression testing tools.
Reporting & Dashboards
Experience with QA dashboards, APIs, reporting systems, or automation control panels is preferred.
