Key Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, indirect materials and services, on time and cost-effectively
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material availability at optimum inventory levels
  • Support supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase order management and supplier performance monitoring
  • Keep procurement transactions, documentation and supplier master data accurate in the ERP system (SAP Business ByDesign)
  • Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers on pricing, quality, delivery, technical capability, financial stability and compliance
  • Support the preparation, review, renewal and administration of supplier contracts and purchase agreements
  • Review approved Purchase Requisitions, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements and create Purchase Orders
  • Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders and GRNs and coordinate with Finance for timely payment
  • Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports and monitor procurement KPIs

Requirements

  • MBA/BBA
  • An SCM qualification will be an added advantage
