Assistant Manager Production Maintenance

Purpose of the Role

To ensure shift operations in the powder coating plant while maintaining defined quality parameters and compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure shift operations are carried out in accordance with daily and weekly production plans.
• Ensure timely production entries in SAP, maintain process log sheets, submit daily operation reports, and optimize workforce utilization as per production requirements.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities in SAP and ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance jobs.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize equipment downtime and maintenance costs.
• Maintain machine health cards, prepare monthly breakdown reports, and conduct RCA for recurring breakdowns on a regular basis.
• Assist the Head Powder Coating Production in implementing approved Capital Expenditure projects as per schedule.
• Maintain all required ISO-related documents and records in accordance with applicable standards and company requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.

Experience

• At least 7 to 8 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Additional Requirements

• Hands-on experience in industrial automation, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, industrial networking, and system commissioning will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of process, machineries, safety norm, and planning concepts will be an added advantage.
