Business Development Manager

DHL Express is hiring a Business Development Manager in Dhaka to identify and develop new business opportunities, drive strategic growth initiatives and support revenue growth across priority customer segments and industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, market segments and growth areas
  • Evaluate market trends and customer needs to develop targeted business development plans
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities
  • Drive business development activities across priority industries and customer segments
  • Develop and coordinate lead generation initiatives to support sales pipeline creation
  • Coordinate participation in industry events, trade fairs, exhibitions and networking activities
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and regional stakeholders
  • Maintain business development dashboards, reports and performance tracking tools

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Planning, Marketing or related functions
  • Proven experience in market development, lead generation, project coordination or strategic initiatives
  • Experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain or B2B services industry will be advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake or Salesforce will be advantageous
  • Fluent in English
  • Regular travel across Bangladesh is required
