Grameenphone Next Business Leader (NBL): What Is Published and What Is Not

এই সপ্তাহে Grameenphone এর Next Business Leader programme খুঁজতে গেলে বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই গত বছরের circular সামনে আসবে। আমরা 10 October 2026 তারিখে তথ্যগুলো যাচাই করেছি। Grameenphone এর নিজস্ব job portal এ দেখা যাচ্ছে "No jobs available right now" এবং তাদের LinkedIn page এও কোনো open jobs তালিকাভুক্ত নেই। বিষয়টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, কারণ এর আগের 2টি নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তির deadline ছিল October এর শেষের দিকে। একটি 29 October 2024, যা বিভিন্ন job listing এ প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল, আর অন্যটি 18 October 2025, যা Grameenphone এর নিজস্ব posting এ উল্লেখ ছিল। এই গাইডে NBL সম্পর্কে Grameenphone কী প্রকাশ করেছে, circular এ কী কী যোগ্যতা চাওয়া হয়েছিল এবং কোন তথ্যগুলো কখনো প্রকাশ করা হয়নি, সেগুলো তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

The programme at a glance

What the 12 months look like

2025 সালের circular এ programme এর 12 মাসকে 2টি পর্যায়ে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। প্রথম 6 মাসে থাকবে rotation। এর মধ্যে প্রথম 3 মাসের Circle Stint এ revenue functions, technology, customer management এবং operational processes নিয়ে কাজ করতে হবে। এরপরের 3 মাসের Head Office Stint এ strategic insights এবং support functions নিয়ে কাজ করার সুযোগ থাকবে। প্রাথমিক 6 মাস শেষ হলে একটি নির্দিষ্ট division এ গভীরভাবে কাজ করার সুযোগ মিলবে এবং company wide strategic projects এ অংশ নিতে হবে। Posting এ কর্মস্থলের স্থান হিসেবে "Anywhere in Bangladesh" উল্লেখ করা হয়েছিল। তাই পুরো বছর Dhaka তে কাজ করতে হবে, এমন ধারণা করে নেওয়া ঠিক হবে না।

The posting describes the work in the same plain terms. NBLs "engage with shadow partners", attend skills training, work on division specific learning objectives and work with division leaders on real problem statements. Grameenphone's Flagship Programs page sums the programme up as developing future leaders through exposure across functions and "strategic assignments".

চাকরিতে যোগ দেওয়ার দিনেই selection process শেষ হয়ে যায় না। Circular অনুযায়ী, programme চলাকালে CBI assessment, open book quiz এবং management team এর সামনে solutions উপস্থাপনের মতো ধাপ রয়েছে। Grameenphone এর programme page এ বিষয়টি এক লাইনে বলা হয়েছে: "Final assessment will confirm further placement"। অর্থাৎ NBL এমন একটি programme, যেখানে কাজ করার পাশাপাশি পুরো বছর assessment এর মধ্য দিয়ে যেতে হবে। যোগদানের প্রথম দিনেই পরবর্তী placement নিশ্চিত হয়ে যায়, এমন নয়।

Grameenphone's programme page also shows what comes after. Its diagram has three boxes. The first is a "1 year learning period covering the company value chain". The second is "Placement and Rotation", where selected NBLs are placed in specialised roles with rotation, with "2 year to cover experience and exposure". The third is an expert or leadership track, described as "succession to critical roles". The page names the fields NBLs end up in as Commercial, Technology and Techno Commercial. It doesn't say what share of a batch reaches the third box.

Who Grameenphone has asked for

These are the calls we could put a date on, with what each asked for.

Circular গুলোতে কী বলা হয়নি, সেটিও খেয়াল করা জরুরি। আমরা যে circular গুলো পর্যালোচনা করেছি, সেগুলোর কোনোটিতেই minimum CGPA, age limit, নির্দিষ্ট university এর তালিকা কিংবা মোট পদের সংখ্যা উল্লেখ করা হয়নি। 2025 সালের circular এ bachelor's degree চাওয়া হয়েছিল, যেখানে Business, STEM অথবা সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে ডিগ্রিধারীদের অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়ার কথা বলা হয়। পাশাপাশি work experience চাওয়া হয়েছিল 0 to 1 years। 2025 সালের circular অনুযায়ী, final semester এর শিক্ষার্থীরাও আবেদন করতে পারতেন, যদি তাঁদের পড়াশোনা December 2025 এর মধ্যে শেষ হওয়ার কথা থাকে। তাই final year এ থাকা শিক্ষার্থীদের convocation পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষা না করে সুযোগের খোঁজ রাখা উচিত।

One change is visible across the table. Up to 2022 the calls were for one track at a time: Digital, Technology, Sales. The 2022 Sales call was a field job, developing an assigned market and managing a distribution house. The 2024 and 2025 calls name no track, and the rotation comes first.

Is a call open now?

আজ কোনো circular খোলা নেই। 10 October 2026 তারিখে Grameenphone এর job portal এ কোনো job ছিল না, তাদের LinkedIn page এও কোনো job তালিকাভুক্ত ছিল না। Grameenphone এখনো 2026 সালের কোনো call ঘোষণা করেনি, তাই নতুন circular আসবে বলে নিশ্চিত করে কিছু বলা যাচ্ছে না। এখন পর্যন্ত পাওয়া তথ্য অনুযায়ী, আগের circular গুলো ছিল আলাদা আলাদা track এর জন্য এবং বছরের বিভিন্ন সময়ে প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। সেগুলোর roadshow অথবা deadline ছিল June, September এবং November মাসে। অন্যদিকে, 2024 ও 2025 সালের সর্বশেষ 2টি call ছিল general call এবং দুটিরই deadline ছিল October এর দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে। 2026 সালের call ও যদি একই ধরনের সময়সূচি অনুসরণ করে, তাহলে যেকোনো দিন circular প্রকাশিত হতে পারে। তাই আজই Grameenphone এর job portal এবং LinkedIn page দেখে নিন। এরপর এই মাসে প্রতি কয়েক দিন পরপর খোঁজ রাখুন।

আবেদন করার সময় খুব বেশি দীর্ঘ নয়। TBS Graduates 2025 সালের circular প্রকাশ করেছিল 7 October 2025 তারিখে, আর application deadline ছিল 18 October 2025, অর্থাৎ মাত্র এগারো দিন পর। 2021 সালে একটি জাতীয় সংবাদ সংস্থা 23 September তারিখে নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তির খবর প্রকাশ করেছিল, যেখানে deadline ছিল 26 September। Circular প্রকাশের পর CV লেখা শুরু করলে তাড়াহুড়ো করে প্রস্তুতি নিতে হতে পারে।

The Daily Star's guide to management trainee programmes says NBL "recruits around October" and runs for 12 months. That matches the last two years. It isn't a promise from Grameenphone, and the table above shows earlier calls in other months.

Selection and pay: what is not published

Selection process সম্পর্কে Grameenphone যতটুকু প্রকাশ করেছে, অনেক প্রার্থী তার চেয়ে বেশি কিছু জানেন বলে ধরে নেন। তাদের programme page অনুযায়ী, একজন Management Trainee সাধারণত অন্তত 3টি assessment phase এর মধ্য দিয়ে যান। একই page এর একটি diagram এ ধাপগুলো উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে: Aptitude Test, Competency Based Interview, Assessment Center। তবে Aptitude Test এর syllabus, pass mark, প্রতিটি ধাপ থেকে কতজন প্রার্থী পরবর্তী পর্যায়ে যান কিংবা পুরো process শেষ হতে কত সময় লাগে, এসব তথ্য প্রকাশ করা হয়নি।

What the three names mean in practice is covered in our guide to MNC aptitude and assessment tests in Bangladesh, which sets Grameenphone's three phases beside what eight other employers publish. Grameenphone has also run public sessions with its own trainees. Its academy reported an "Ask the NBL" session on 19 February 2024, where 14 NBLs met more than 350 students and covered case cracking, roleplays, CV writing and interviews. That list is the closest thing to a published hint about what the phases test.

NBL programme এ কত stipend দেওয়া হয়, সে বিষয়ে Grameenphone কোনো নির্দিষ্ট অঙ্ক প্রকাশ করেনি। 2025 সালের circular এ শুধু বলা হয়েছে "Competitive stipend and comprehensive benefits package"। এখানে stipend শব্দটি লক্ষ করার মতো। এই programme এর সম্ভাব্য বেতন নিয়ে social media এবং salary website এ বিভিন্ন অঙ্ক দেখা যায়। তবে সেগুলোর কোনোটিই Grameenphone এর প্রকাশিত তথ্য নয়। তাই আমরা কোনো নির্দিষ্ট অঙ্ক উল্লেখ করছি না।

For context only: Prothom Alo's English edition, in a roundup of entry programmes that includes NBL, says management trainees and future leaders in Bangladesh "typically receive a starting monthly salary exceeding Tk 50,000". That is a general statement about the market. It isn't a Grameenphone figure and shouldn't be read as one. Our MTO salary guide lists the employers that do publish a number.

What to have ready before a call

যেহেতু আবেদন করার সময়সীমা প্রায় দশ দিন, তাই circular প্রকাশের আগেই প্রস্তুতি শেষ করে রাখা ভালো। Circular এ analytical, problem solving এবং communication skills এর পাশাপাশি telecom industry এর প্রতি আগ্রহ চাওয়া হয়েছে। আপনার CV তে এসব দক্ষতা কোথায় কাজে লাগিয়েছেন, তা তুলে ধরুন। কোনো project, competition, club role অথবা internship এর অভিজ্ঞতা থাকলে সেখানে আপনার দায়িত্ব কী ছিল এবং আপনার কাজের ফলে কী পরিবর্তন এসেছে, তা স্পষ্টভাবে লিখুন। পাশাপাশি Aptitude Test এবং Competency Based Interview এর জন্যও প্রস্তুতি নিন, কারণ Grameenphone নিজেই এই ধাপগুলোর নাম প্রকাশ করেছে।

A short checklist:

• Check Grameenphone's job portal and LinkedIn page every few days. Those are the two places a real call appears.
• Create a profile on the portal. Its empty page says "Stay tuned or create a profile".
• Have your CV finished. The 2022 posting said "Please attach your updated CV while applying".
• Write your evidence down now. For each project, club role or internship: what you did, and what changed.
• Know your graduation date. The 2025 call set a completion month for final semester students.
• Expect a posting outside Dhaka. The location line said anywhere in Bangladesh, and the first stint is in a Circle.

এখানে একটি বিষয়ে সতর্ক থাকা দরকার। অনেক job board পুরোনো NBL circular অনলাইনে রাখে, কিন্তু page title এ চলতি বছরের উল্লেখ থাকে। আমরা 2026 সালের title এর অধীনে 2022 সালের একটি Technology circular দেখেছি। তাই কোনো circular দেখার পর Grameenphone এর নিজস্ব job portal অথবা LinkedIn page খুলে closing date যাচাই করুন। Grameenphone তাদের নিজস্ব job posting এর মাধ্যমেই application গ্রহণ করে। Programme এ সুযোগ পাইয়ে দেওয়ার দাবি করে কেউ টাকা চাইলে তাকে টাকা দেবেন না।

NBL, Nextern and the other routes

Grameenphone lists four flagship programmes: Campus Lead, Platform SHE, Nextern and NBL. Only NBL is a management trainee programme.
