Unilever Future Leaders Programme (UFLP) in Bangladesh: What Unilever Has Published, What It Hasn't, and How the 2026 Intake Ran

Unilever Future Leaders Programme বা UFLP হলো Unilever Bangladesh এর management trainee programme। এর মেয়াদ 15 মাস, এখানে চারটি function রয়েছে এবং আবেদনের জন্য ন্যূনতম CGPA 2.50 প্রয়োজন। 2026 সালে শুধু একটি job post দেখে এই programme এ আবেদন করার সুযোগ ছিল না। Unilever এ বছর BizMaestros X UFLP 2026 নামে business competition এবং recruitment drive একই প্রক্রিয়ায় পরিচালনা করেছে। এ আয়োজনের অংশ হিসেবে 22 June 2026 তারিখে একটি webinar অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এবং July এর শেষ দিকে grand finale আয়োজিত হয়। 4 October 2026 পর্যন্ত UFLP এর কোনো call খোলা নেই। Unilever তাদের careers site থেকে 2026 সালের job postings এবং UFLP FAQ page সরিয়ে নিয়েছে। এই গাইডে Bangladesh এ UFLP সম্পর্কে Unilever কী প্রকাশ করেছে, কোন তথ্য প্রকাশ করেনি, 2026 সালের intake কীভাবে পরিচালিত হয়েছে এবং পরবর্তী intake এর আগে কী কী প্রস্তুত রাখা প্রয়োজন, তা তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

What UFLP is

UFLP is the name Unilever gives its management trainee programme. Unilever Bangladesh's own FAQ describes it as a 15 month "accelerated leadership programme preparing fresh graduates and young professionals for leadership roles". You apply to one of four functions: Go To Market (Sales and Marketing), Supply Chain, Finance or Human Resources.

It is not a rotation across the whole company. The 2026 postings called it a stint based journey in which you rotate across the key pillars inside the function you chose. The 2025 Human Resources posting named its five: Employee Relations, People Experience, Employer Brand, Business Partnering and HR Transformation. The work is full time and on site in Dhaka.

UFLP has a sister programme for students who are not graduating yet, the Unilever Leadership Internship Programme (ULIP). Unilever's 2026 release says BizMaestros X UFLP candidates are considered for ULIP places as well.

What Unilever has published, and what it hasn't

How the 2026 intake ran: BizMaestros X UFLP

দীর্ঘদিন ধরে BizMaestros ছিল Unilever Bangladesh এর business case competition, আর UFLP এর জন্য আবেদন করতে হতো আলাদাভাবে। 2026 সালে দুটি প্রক্রিয়াকে একসঙ্গে পরিচালনা করা হয়েছে। Unilever এর নিজস্ব press release অনুযায়ী, competition এর শুরুতে ছিল individual application, aptitude assessment এবং digital interview। এরপর নির্বাচিত শীর্ষ 45 জন candidate অংশ নেন bootcamp এবং Discovery Centre এ। সেখানে ছিল mentorship session, focus group discussion, functional case solving exercise এবং individual ও group assessment। পরবর্তী ধাপে শীর্ষ 18 জনকে ছয়টি team এ ভাগ করে grand finale তে নেওয়া হয়। তবে grand finale তে জয়ী হওয়া মানেই চাকরি পাওয়া নয়। Unilever জানিয়েছে, ভালো perform করা candidate দের UFLP এর final interview stage এ দ্রুত এগিয়ে নেওয়া হয়। পাশাপাশি entry level position এবং Unilever Leadership Internship Programme (ULIP) এর জন্যও তাদের বিবেচনা করা হয়।

Two details in Unilever's own material are worth knowing. First, the 2026 release says Unilever integrated BizMaestros with UFLP "for the first time", but its December 2024 release said the same about BizMaestros 2024, when the top five teams got direct access to UFLP and ULIP selection. Whichever year you count from, the direction is the same: the competition is now part of the hiring route, so a call may arrive under the BizMaestros name. Second, the 16th edition was run on campus as well as online. Unilever held "Learn to Lead" roadshows at universities and a national webinar on 22 June 2026, where its event page promised three of its own trainees talking about their BizMaestros journey.

The podium also says something about who gets through. The nine members of the three winning teams came from five institutions, and five of the nine were from IBA, University of Dhaka. The others were from North South University, Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh University of Professionals and one university in the United States. That is one year's podium, not a quota, and Unilever publishes no university wise numbers.

When it opens

UFLP এর জন্য আবেদন করার কোনো নির্দিষ্ট মাস নেই। UFLP 2023 এর application 16 December 2022 তারিখে বন্ধ হয়েছিল। পরবর্তী intake এর জন্য Unilever এর FAQ প্রকাশিত হয় 5 December 2023 তারিখে। BizMaestros 2024 এর registration শুরু হয়েছিল 3 November 2024 তারিখে এবং December এর শুরুতে শেষ হয়েছিল। August 2025 এ Human Resources function এর জন্য Management Trainee (UFLP) position এর একটি job posting খোলা ছিল। 2026 সালে webinar অনুষ্ঠিত হয় 22 June তারিখে, job listing এ application deadline হিসেবে 26 June উল্লেখ করা হয়েছিল এবং July এর শেষ দিকে grand finale অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। অর্থাৎ, আবেদন করার সময় December থেকে November, এরপর August এবং সর্বশেষ June এ এসেছে। পরবর্তী call কোন মাসে প্রকাশিত হবে, তা Unilever এর বাইরে কারও পক্ষে নিশ্চিতভাবে বলা সম্ভব নয়। আমাদের পক্ষেও নয়। Unilever Careers (BD) এর Facebook page এবং Unilever এর LinkedIn page অনুসরণ করুন। Job post প্রকাশের আগেই নিজের CV প্রস্তুত রাখুন।

Who can apply

2026 সালের job postings অনুযায়ী, স্বীকৃত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের final year undergraduate student রা এই opportunity এর জন্য আবেদন করতে পারতেন, যদি internship requirement ছাড়া বাকি সব academic coursework September 2026 এর মধ্যে শেষ করার কথা থাকে। আবেদনের জন্য ন্যূনতম CGPA 2.50, full time ও on site working model এ কাজ করার প্রস্তুতি এবং academic activities এর বাইরেও ভালো সম্পৃক্ততা চাওয়া হয়েছিল। Business competition, debating, entrepreneurial venture, part time role অথবা leadership experience এর মতো বিষয়গুলোও গুরুত্ব পেয়েছিল। তবে আগের call গুলোতে eligibility criteria ভিন্ন ছিল। 2022 এবং 2023 সালের call এ fresh graduate এবং সর্বোচ্চ 1 বছরের full time work experience থাকা candidate রা আবেদন করতে পারতেন। August 2025 এর posting এ এই অভিজ্ঞতার সীমা কমিয়ে 6 মাস করা হয়েছিল। তাই আগের বছরের eligibility দেখে সিদ্ধান্ত না নিয়ে যে call এ আবেদন করবেন, সেটির eligibility criteria ভালোভাবে পড়ে নিন।

One caution on the 2026 wording. The postings have been removed, so we could not reread the full eligibility text today, and Unilever's own finale release describes one of the champions as "the only undergrad across the competition". Recent graduates were clearly in the 2026 pool as well as final year students. If you have already graduated, do not rule yourself out on the strength of a summary; check the graduation window in the call itself.

December 2023 তারিখের Unilever UFLP FAQ তে এমন কিছু নিয়ম উল্লেখ করা হয়েছিল, যেগুলো না জানলে আবেদনের ক্ষেত্রে ভুল হতে পারে। একজন candidate কেবল একটি function এ আবেদন করতে পারতেন। একাধিক function এ আবেদন করলে সব application বাতিল হতে পারত, অথবা শুধু প্রথম application টি বিবেচনা করা হতে পারত। আগের কোনো বছরে আবেদন করে থাকলে পুনরায় আবেদন করার সুযোগ ছিল না। Go To Market এবং Human Resources এর জন্য নির্দিষ্ট major এর শর্ত ছিল না। Finance এর জন্য finance major প্রয়োজন ছিল, আর Supply Chain এর ক্ষেত্রে Unilever জানিয়েছিল যে ওই বছর শুধু engineering student দের নিয়োগ দেওয়া হচ্ছিল। CGPA সম্পর্কিত FAQ এর ভাষা ছিল "a passing CGPA of 2.5"। এগুলো সেই intake এর নিয়ম। 2026 সালের FAQ page সরিয়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে। তাই কোন function এ আবেদন করবেন, তা ঠিক করার আগে নিজের application এর জন্য প্রকাশিত FAQ পড়ে নিন।

The selection rounds

Unilever Bangladesh's FAQ lists five rounds:

1. Application. A basic form with personal details and eligibility questions, with your CV uploaded.
2. Online behavioural and aptitude assessment. Four segments, around 40 minutes in total, done in one sitting.
3. Online digital interview. Four questions answered on recorded video.
4. Discovery Centre. A day long assessment centre at Unilever's office.
5. Final round. An interview with the Management Committee.

The Financial Express and TBS Graduates printed the same five steps for the UFLP 2023 call, with the fourth called an Assessment Centre. In 2026 the same sequence sat inside BizMaestros X UFLP: applications, aptitude assessments and digital interviews, then the bootcamp and Discovery Centre for 45, then the finale for 18, then the final interview stage for the high performers.

অনলাইনে UFLP assessment নিয়ে যেসব বিস্তারিত guide পাওয়া যায়, সেগুলোর অনেকগুলো test preparation company লিখেছে Unilever এর UK এবং global recruitment process এর ভিত্তিতে। এগুলোকে Bangladesh এর recruitment process হিসেবে ধরে নেওয়া ঠিক হবে না। উপরে উল্লেখ করা তথ্য Unilever Bangladesh এর নিজস্ব FAQ এবং press release থেকে নেওয়া হয়েছে। এক intake থেকে অন্য intake এ assessment format পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে।

Preparing for each round

CV: প্রথম ধাপে থাকে একটি সাধারণ application form, যেখানে eligibility সম্পর্কিত প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে হয় এবং CV upload করতে হয়। 2026 সালের postings এ academic activities এর বাইরের সম্পৃক্ততার ওপর গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছিল। তাই CV তে প্রতিটি competition, club role, venture অথবা part time job এর ক্ষেত্রে আপনার দায়িত্ব কী ছিল এবং তার মাধ্যমে কী বাস্তব ফলাফল অর্জিত হয়েছে, তা তুলে ধরুন। প্রথমে নিজের জন্য উপযুক্ত function নির্বাচন করুন, তারপর সেটিকে মাথায় রেখে CV তৈরি করুন। Finance এর জন্য তৈরি application এবং Go To Market এর জন্য তৈরি application এর CV একই ধরনের হওয়া উচিত নয়। একবার application submit করলে সেটি আর edit করা যায় না।

Online assessment: Unilever এর FAQ অনুযায়ী, online behavioural এবং aptitude assessment এ মোট 4টি segment থাকে, যা সম্পন্ন করতে প্রায় 40 মিনিট সময় লাগে। Email এ পাঠানো unique link ব্যবহার করে একবারে পুরো assessment শেষ করতে হয়। FAQ তে আরও বলা হয়েছে, assessment সম্পন্ন করতে আপনার কত সময় লাগছে, সেটিও score এর ওপর প্রভাব ফেলে। Assessment নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে শেষ করতে হয় বলে স্থিতিশীল internet connection সহ laptop অথবা computer ব্যবহার করুন। Bangladesh এর জন্য Unilever কোনো নির্দিষ্ট syllabus বা sample question প্রকাশ করেনি। তাই সাধারণ timed aptitude question অনুশীলন করুন এবং নির্দিষ্ট কোনো pattern অনুসরণ করা হয় বলে অন্য কারও অভিজ্ঞতার ওপর পুরোপুরি নির্ভর করবেন না। Application করার পর inbox, promotions এবং spam folder পরীক্ষা করুন। FAQ অনুযায়ী, পরবর্তী round এর email পেতে 3 দিন পর্যন্ত সময় লাগতে পারে।

Digital interview: এই ধাপে 4টি প্রশ্নের উত্তর video রেকর্ড করে জমা দিতে হয়। FAQ অনুযায়ী, প্রতিটি প্রশ্নে একটি পরিস্থিতি তুলে ধরা হয়। সেই পরিস্থিতির সমস্যা বা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ insight চিহ্নিত করে একটি সমাধান বের করতে হয়। উত্তর অবশ্যই English এ দিতে হবে। এ বিষয়ে Unilever এর পরামর্শগুলো সহজ: এমন জায়গায় বসুন যেখানে মনোযোগ নষ্ট হওয়ার আশঙ্কা নেই, screen এর পরিবর্তে camera এর দিকে তাকিয়ে কথা বলুন, সরাসরি interview দিতে গেলে যেভাবে পোশাক পরতেন সেভাবে প্রস্তুত হন, প্রথমে practice question এর উত্তর দিন, হাতের কাছে pen, paper এবং calculator রাখুন, আর recording শুরু করার আগে উত্তরটি গুছিয়ে নিন। আপনি নিজে recording শুরু করার সিদ্ধান্ত না নেওয়া পর্যন্ত camera recording শুরু করে না।

Discovery Centre এবং final interview: Discovery Centre হলো Unilever এর office এ অনুষ্ঠিত এক দিনের assessment। 2026 সালের ক্ষেত্রে Unilever জানিয়েছে, সেখানে শীর্ষ 45 জন candidate কী কী কার্যক্রমে অংশ নিয়েছিলেন। সেগুলোর মধ্যে ছিল mentorship session, focus group discussion, functional case solving exercise এবং individual ও group assessment। তাই group এ business case সমাধানের অনুশীলন করুন, অন্যের কথা বলার সময় বাধা না দিয়ে নিজের বক্তব্য পরিষ্কারভাবে তুলে ধরুন এবং সংখ্যাসহ একটি recommendation উপস্থাপন করতে শিখুন। শেষ ধাপে Management Committee এর সঙ্গে interview হয়। কেন নির্দিষ্ট function টি বেছে নিয়েছেন, তার যুক্তিসংগত ব্যাখ্যা দেওয়ার প্রস্তুতি রাখুন। পাশাপাশি CV এর প্রতিটি তথ্য ও অভিজ্ঞতা নিয়েও প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে প্রস্তুত থাকুন।

Salary, and what comes after

Bangladesh এ UFLP এর salary সম্পর্কে Unilever কোনো তথ্য প্রকাশ করেনি। বেতন উল্লেখ করা একটি newspaper listing এ বলা হয়েছে "As per company policy"। Social media এবং salary site এ বিভিন্ন অঙ্কের কথা ছড়ালেও Unilever এর পক্ষ থেকে কোনো অঙ্ক নিশ্চিত করা হয়নি। তাই এখানে কোনো বেতনের অঙ্ক উল্লেখ করা হচ্ছে না। Programme শেষ হওয়ার পর কী হয়, সে বিষয়ে 2026 সালের postings এ বলা হয়েছিল, 15 মাস শেষে প্রত্যেক trainee Unilever Bangladesh Management Committee এর সামনে নিজের journey এবং contributions উপস্থাপন করেন। এরপর performance এবং potential বিবেচনা করে Management Committee full time role এ চূড়ান্ত placement নির্ধারণ করে। অর্থাৎ, এটি programme শেষে নেওয়া একটি সিদ্ধান্ত, শুরুতেই দেওয়া কোনো নিশ্চয়তা নয়।

What to get ready now

A short checklist for the months before the next call:

• Your function chosen. Go To Market, Supply Chain, Finance or Human Resources. You get one application.
• Your degree checked against that function. The 2023 FAQ asked for a finance major for Finance and engineering for Supply Chain.
• Your graduation window known. Each call names the months by which coursework must be finished.
• A CV built for that one function, with a real result against every competition, club role, venture and part time job.
• Timed aptitude practice, on a laptop, in one sitting of about 40 minutes.
• Recorded practice in English. Film yourself solving a short business situation in two minutes, then watch it back.
• Group case practice with friends: one case, one recommendation, numbers to back it.
• A clear answer to "why this function", for the Management Committee interview.
• Notifications on for Unilever Careers (BD) on Facebook and Unilever on LinkedIn, and a watch on BizMaestros announcements, since the 2026 call came under that name.

A word of caution

Unilever এর careers site এ স্পষ্টভাবে সতর্ক করা হয়েছে যে recruitment process এর কোনো পর্যায়েই অর্থ বা credit card এর তথ্য চাওয়া হয় না। 2026 সালের FAQ page এবং job postings সরিয়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে। সেখানকার তথ্য তারিখ ছাড়া বিভিন্ন job site এ এখনও ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে। পরবর্তী call এর ক্ষেত্রে শুধু Unilever Careers (BD) এর প্রকাশিত link এবং Unilever এর নিজস্ব careers portal এর তথ্যের ওপর নির্ভর করুন। কেউ UFLP তে সুযোগ পাইয়ে দেওয়ার বিনিময়ে টাকা চাইলে বুঝবেন, এটি Unilever এর recruitment process নয়।
