Associate Officer - Community Safety and Engagement

ActionAid Bangladesh is hiring an Associate Officer - Community Safety and Engagement for its peace and social cohesion project in Cox’s Bazar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run community consultations, safety mapping, risk assessments and dialogues
  • Support Community Watch Groups, youth and women’s groups
  • Link communities with APBn, CiC offices and other duty bearers
  • Field reports, records and data collection with Kobo

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in a social science or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years with NGO, humanitarian or development programmes
  • Community mobilisation and facilitation experience
  • Good Bangla and English; Rohingya or Chittagonian an advantage
