Head of Internal Audit (HoIA)

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and run the annual Risk-Based Internal Audit (RBIA) plan across branches and head office
• Oversee On-Site Audit, Off-Site Surveillance and the Quality Assurance & Improvement Program
• Direct forensic audits and fraud investigations when required
• Report independently to the Management Audit Committee
• Liaise with external and global auditors and track audit observations

Requirements

• Master’s / Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields
• FCA, FCCA, CIA or CISA preferred
• 15 to 18 years of commercial banking experience, at least 7 to 10 years in senior internal audit roles
• Deep understanding of Bangladesh Bank circulars, the Bank Company Act 1991, ICMS guidelines and RBS
