Head of General Services Division

Mercantile Bank is hiring a Head of General Services Division to lead procurement, premises, fleet, logistics and administrative support across the bank.

Deadline: 12 November 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the General Services Division for cost-effective administrative and operational support
  • Manage procurement, vendor selection, contracts, inventory and disposal of fixed assets
  • Supervise maintenance, renovation and development of branches, head office and premises
  • Oversee transport, fleet, logistics, utilities and security coordination
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and expenditure reports

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree; B.Sc. in civil or electrical engineering preferred; B.Sc. Engineering with MBA a best fit
  • Supply chain or project management qualifications an added advantage
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, at least 5 years leading general services, administration, logistics or facilities in a leading commercial bank
  • Procurement, asset management and facilities maintenance knowledge
