About the Program

City Bank Internship Program is designed to provide students with hands-on, real-world exposure to the banking industry. Interns are given meaningful responsibilities and the opportunity to work on impactful tasks that support both personal growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day departmental tasks and projects across functions such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, HR, Finance, and Operations.
  • Support data entry, documentation, and basic reporting as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Help organise events, prepare presentations, and support internal communications.
  • Shadow professionals to learn banking operations and client service practices.
  • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Bank’s policies and ethical standards.

Who Can Apply

  • Undergraduate (final year) or postgraduate students from Business, Finance, Economics, HRM, Marketing, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines.
  • CGPA 3.00+ (minimum requirement).
  • Must be enrolled in a recognized university or academic institution.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Bangla.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
