Field Service Engineer

Atlas Copco is hiring Field Service Engineers for its Compressor Technique Service department in Dhaka, to deliver on-site service, maintenance and repair of compressors at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality after-sales service and maintenance for Atlas Copco equipment at customers’ sites
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs on Atlas Copco air compressors and compressed air system components
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning compressors and carry out the repairs
  • Maintain records, recommend spares and train operators and mechanics
  • Coordinate with the service planner for parts supplies and reporting of service jobs
  • Coordinate with dealers on dealer engineer training, placement and stock
  • Communicate worksite status to customers and supervisors through written and verbal reports

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Power or Mechatronics
  • At least 2 years of experience; 2 to 6 years of hands-on service experience on air/gas compressors or generators
  • Good knowledge of air compressors is a must
  • Working experience with air compressors, VFD/VSD, BMS and CCR is preferable
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and leadership skills
  • Candidates with higher experience can be considered for senior positions
