VF Corporation is hiring a Manager, Sourcing Operations in Chattogram to lead a team of specialists overseeing day-to-day production operations at Tier 1 factories and to drive performance on quality, on-time performance and social and environmental compliance. The role requires frequent travel to factory sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of specialists, coach performance and support professional growth
  • Manage a portfolio of factories within the assigned country, ensuring core KPIs are consistently met or exceeded
  • Contribute to Risk Assessment and Pre-Production meetings by identifying risks and recommending actions to safeguard product quality
  • Take full accountability for resolving production-related issues such as material delays and low output
  • Take part in root cause analysis and corrective action plan reviews for quality claims
  • Support the Responsible Sourcing Operations team on social and environmental compliance corrective action plans
  • Use data analytics to improve factory performance and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in production operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and construction methods in the product category
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-cultural teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to lead, facilitate and champion change
  • Product development or technical expertise will be an advantage
