Executive - Internal Audit

Nagad Limited is hiring an Executive - Internal Audit in Dhaka to support risk-based internal audits, assess governance, risk and controls, prepare audit findings and recommendations, and follow up on action plans in line with IIA Standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of risk-based audit plans and help maintain the audit universe and risk register
  • Perform internal audit activities in accordance with IIA Standards, the IIA Code of Ethics, organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and document engagement plans, including objectives, scope, timelines and resource requirements
  • Independently perform and document assigned audit engagements within approved timelines
  • Develop and update control assessment frameworks and Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs)
  • Communicate audit results clearly and work with auditees and management on action plans
  • Conduct periodic follow-ups on audit recommendations and maintain the audit follow-up tracking system

Requirements

  • Bachelor/Honors concentrated in Accounting, Finance and Information System or a relevant discipline from a recognized university
  • CA-CC or partial completion of a related professional certification (CIA, ACA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus
  • Prior relevant work experience will be an advantage; fresh graduates with strong academic credentials from any public university are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to write clear, concise and grammatically correct English reports
  • Proficiency in IIA Standards and risk and control frameworks such as COSO
  • Flexibility to travel and visit locations of the organization’s partners, including call centers and distribution houses
