Habib Bank Limited (HBL) is hiring a Manager - Structured Credits to manage the recovery and resolution of defaulted loans and advances, developing and implementing customer-specific recovery strategies in line with the bank’s credit policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recovery strategies and action plans for delinquent and classified accounts
  • Negotiate and process restructuring, rescheduling, settlement, waiver and write-off proposals in compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Prepare credit memoranda and recommendations for approval
  • Monitor recovery efforts and ensure timely execution of approved settlement and recovery plans
  • Initiate and coordinate legal actions against defaulting customers with accurate legal documentation
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and monitor litigation progress
  • Prepare regulatory reports, MIS reports and status updates for Head Office, regulators and senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized institution
  • A Law degree and experience in handling legal recovery matters will be an added advantage
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in recovery, remedial management, litigation or related banking functions
  • Experience in the banking business area
  • Age: at least 23 years
