Senior Executive, Finance (R2R)

foodpanda is hiring a Senior Executive, Finance (R2R) in Dhaka to prepare and post journals in SAP in accordance with IAS, IFRS and Group Reporting policies and to complete month-end closing on time.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journals in SAP for the assigned entities in accordance with IAS, IFRS and Group Reporting policies
  • Ensure month-end closing tasks are completed on time and the Group’s closing timelines are met
  • Validate and post intercompany (IC) entries in SAP and reconcile IC balances with counterparties monthly
  • Ensure asset reporting and management of the asset register
  • Maintain SL vs GL reconciliation of the different accounts
  • Provide support during Group audit reviews, local statutory audit and internal audits
  • Standardize, automate and streamline to improve efficiency in financial reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or another Business discipline, with partial qualification in CA/ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in maintaining a set of accounts and monthly General Ledger closing
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and internal controls
  • Hands-on experience with finance systems such as SAP or Oracle; prior SAP experience will be a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
