VF Corporation is hiring a Senior Engineer, Costing in Chattogram to run development costing operations and partner with sourcing, development and brand stakeholders on seasonal development costing across several VF brands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Champion connectivity and information sharing across vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage seasonal development costing milestones and activities
  • Lead negotiation with vendor partners using fact-based costing methodologies and product engineering
  • Provide FOB and Landed costing perspectives to support sourcing strategies
  • Ensure costing process adherence by costing operations teams and vendors, and track key metrics
  • Improve costing productivity by eliminating redundancies and automating repetitive tasks
  • Lead and take part in cross-functional initiatives and analyses

Skill Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial garment manufacturing, a buying office or a trading company
  • Ability to understand technical specifications, Bill of Materials and garment constructions
  • Knowledge of fabric weaving, constructions and dyeing processes will be a plus
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and reasoning skills
  • Strong in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Oral and written fluency in English
