Branch Manager - Dhaka Metro and Surroundings (Up to SAVP)

Bengal Commercial Bank PLC is hiring Branch Managers (up to SAVP) for Dhaka Metro and surroundings to run branch business plans, grow deposits, advances and fee income, and lead branch teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the branch business plan for growth in deposits, advances, fee income and profitability
  • Drive business development and customer acquisition against asset and liability targets
  • Coordinate with Credit Risk Management, Credit Administration, Trade Finance, Operations and other Head Office divisions
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations and high-quality customer service
  • Lead and manage the branch team to achieve individual and collective targets
  • Ensure compliance, risk management, internal controls and AML/CFT adherence at the branch

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a reputed bank, preferably with 3 years in a similar role and a strong Corporate, SME and Retail client base
  • Strong knowledge of Branch Operations, General Banking, Lending and Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations
  • Well conversant with the Bank Companies Act, Artha Rin Adalat, AML Act, Negotiable Instruments Act and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent business communication and sales acumen
  • Candidates serving in a bank or FI and applying for a higher position must meet the JAIBB/AIBB requirements of BRPD-1 Circular Letter No. 13 (29.04.2026)
