Quality Assurance Leader / Supervisor

QIMA is hiring a Quality Assurance Leader / Supervisor in Dhaka to maintain quality performance in its laboratory and make sure testing equipment delivers the required accuracy at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and publish the local quality manual and quality system documents in line with quality system requirements
  • Handle daily quality assurance tasks including line audits
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies and government departments on accreditation and recognition
  • Arrange and carry out annual internal audits, prepare audit reports and issue corrective action requests
  • Investigate customer complaints, proficiency test results and lab errors and monitor corrective actions
  • Supervise equipment management and external calibration
  • Prepare ISO 17025 and quality management system training and weekly and monthly quality reports

Qualifications

  • Degree in a field related to chemistry, physics, mathematics or engineering
  • Internal auditor of management system
  • In-depth knowledge of the ISO 17025 quality management system
  • More than 5 years of accredited laboratory experience with 2 years managing a quality system as QA supervisor
  • Solid experience in handling local accreditation is a must
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and the local language
