Operational Risk Desk, Risk Management Division (Officer-SO)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, review and update the Bank’s Operational Risk Management Manual at least annually
• Identify and establish Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) with IT, HR, Operations, Cards and Branches and define thresholds
• Monitor KRI movements and escalate Amber/Red breaches to the appropriate risk governance forum
• Maintain a KRI Register and prepare monthly KRI monitoring reports
• Analyze internal audit findings and fraud incident reports from an operational risk perspective and track their resolution
• Organize and conduct Risk Associates Forum (RAF) meetings at least quarterly and follow up on agreed actions

Requirements

• MBA/MBM/Master’s/four-year Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-approved university, preferably in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics or Statistics
• No third class/division in academic records; minimum 16 years of education
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Risk Management
• At least 1 year of specific experience in operational risk management or related functions in commercial banks or financial institutions
