Head of Sustainable Finance (AVP - VP)

Community Bank Bangladesh is hiring a Head of Sustainable Finance (AVP - VP) to set the bank’s sustainable finance strategy and green financing in line with Bangladesh Bank guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the bank’s sustainable finance strategy, policies and action plans
  • Set annual sustainable finance targets, budgets and implementation roadmaps
  • Develop financing in renewable energy, energy efficiency, green buildings, sustainable agriculture and clean transport
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank’s Sustainable Finance, ESRM, Green Banking and Climate Risk guidelines
  • Coordinate periodic sustainable finance reports and climate related disclosures to Bangladesh Bank

Requirements

  • Masters and Bachelor/Honors degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in banks
  • No third class or division in any academic record
  • JAIBB and AIBB mandatory for promotion to the next higher grade
  • Professional certification in a relevant field is an added advantage
