Procurement Officer (Risk and Compliance)

Key Accountabilities

• Strengthen compliance with WFP procurement policies, procedures and delegated authorities
• Maintain procurement risk registers and support fraud risk assessments and AFAC compliance
• Oversee food production contracts and inspection companies with Food Safety and Quality teams
• Set up pre-arranged agreements and contingency procurement for emergency preparedness and response
• Develop procurement dashboards and support field offices and Cash-Based Transfer contracting

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a relevant field, or a Bachelor’s with additional years of experience
• Minimum 5 years of progressive procurement experience with emphasis on risk mitigation, supplier auditing and compliance within UN agencies
• Procurement field experience in emergencies and disaster preparedness and response is essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English
