Fabric Buyer

LC Waikiki is hiring a Fabric Buyer in Dhaka to make sure every fabric meets the brand’s quality, cost and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and approve fabric developments against brand standards
  • Review fabric test reports and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Work with mills and suppliers on construction, finishing and performance
  • Monitor bulk production fabrics for consistency
  • Support designers and product developers with fabric selection
  • Ensure compliance with sustainability and chemical regulations (RSL)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology or related
  • Strong knowledge of woven, knit, denim and jersey construction and finishing
  • Textile testing standards and quality control
  • Experience with mills and suppliers, ideally fast fashion
  • Knowledge of fabric costing and sustainability standards
