Head of Regulatory, Mukto Pay

Banglalink’s digital payments business Mukto Pay is hiring a Head of Regulatory in Dhaka to lead its licensing and regulatory work.

DhakaDeadline: 7 November 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Mukto Pay’s licensing roadmap for the digital wallet (PSP) and digital bank businesses
  • Secure regulatory approval for new products, partnerships, fees and charges
  • Act as single point of contact with Bangladesh Bank, BFIU, MoF-FID, BTRC and other bodies
  • Build and run the regulatory compliance framework, obligations register and policies

Requirements

  • Graduate in Law or Business; postgraduate degree or professional qualification preferred
  • 10+ years in payments/MFS or banking regulation within a digital business
  • At least 5 years leading direct engagement with Bangladesh Bank
  • Hands-on licensing and regulatory approvals for payment, MFS or banking products
  • Knowledge of MFS regulations, Digital Bank Guidelines, BFIU, AML/CFT and e-KYC
