Trainee Officer (Cash/GB/Others)

Job Context

ONE Bank PLC is one of the leading banks in Bangladesh with 114 branches and 54 sub-branches across the country. The Bank is looking for smart, energetic and self-motivated Bangladeshi nationals to join as Trainee Officers.

Selected candidates will be placed either in Cash / General Banking at any branch or in any division / department of the Corporate HQ, as per the Bank’s requirement.

The position offers a one-year probation with in-house training and on-the-job exposure and, on successful completion with satisfactory performance, may lead to absorption as Officer Grade-1.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation or post-graduation from a recognized public or private university (UGC-approved).
• Minimum CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00 at graduate and post-graduate level.
• Minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 5.00 in SSC, HSC and equivalent levels.

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 32 years.
• 1 to 2 years of banking experience will be an added advantage; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good command of written and spoken Bangla and English.
• Proficiency in computer literacy (MS Office package) and sound analytical ability.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity and support creativity is preferred.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong integrity, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Willingness to be posted to any branch or division in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities

Cash / General Banking (Branch)

• Handle cash receipts and payments.
• Process cheques, clearing instruments, fund transfers, pay orders and other general banking transactions.
• Handle account opening ensuring KYC and AML/CFT compliance.
• Support deposit mobilization, cross-selling and achievement of assigned business targets.
• Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

Division / Department (Corporate HQ)

• Work of the respective Divisions/Departments as assigned by the Supervisor such as maintaining files, records and correspondence and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with branches and other divisions for information and follow-up.
• Support compliance with the Bank’s policies, regulatory requirements and audit queries.

Selection Procedure
