Business Development Officer, Employee Banking

Job Summary

Business & Financial

• Achieve set targets in terms of the number of accounts and sales volume for Employee Banking.
• Increase the customer base.
• Capitalize on cross-sell opportunities.
• Help organize sales and service campaigns.
• Communicate with clients and potential clients for sales opportunities.
• Ensure cost minimization and maintain a controlled environment.

Sales

• Sell respective products and achieve set targets.

People & Talent

• Help create an environment where the Employee Banking team operates as a team and demonstrates the Values of the Bank.
• Maintain open channels of communication and high levels of motivation.

Key Responsibilities

Governance, Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure consistency of communication with staff on compliance requirements and non-negotiable standards.
• Ensure applicable processes and controls are complied with clear responsibility and accountability for the prevention of money laundering, miss-selling, misrepresentation, fraud, and customer complaints in line with Group policy and standards.
• Maintain good relationships with local Legal and Compliance teams to address any regulatory or compliance-related issues.

Operational Quality

• Ensure error-free AOF/Application processing.

Health & Safety

• Ensure timely escalation of health and safety-related issues.

Skills & Experience

• Strong selling and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convince customers and sell bank products.
• Creativity in meeting customer demands with existing products.
• Initiative and drive to achieve set targets and service standards.
• Strong organizational skills for campaigns, promotions, mail shots, seminars, and related activities.
• Adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree.
