Banglalink Digitalyst Internship: What Banglalink Has Said, What It Hasn't, and How to Be Ready

অনেক শিক্ষার্থী Digitalyst সম্পর্কে প্রথম জানতে পারে বন্ধুর LinkedIn পোস্ট দেখে: "Excited to share that I've joined Banglalink as a Digitalyst." এরপর circular খুঁজতে গিয়ে আর কিছুই পাওয়া যায় না, কারণ application window ইতোমধ্যেই বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে। এই programme এর ক্ষেত্রে এমনটা বেশ নিয়মিতই ঘটে। Banglalink বছরে তিনবার Digitalyst এ recruitment করে, প্রতিটি window অল্প সময়ের জন্য খোলা থাকে, আর company নির্দিষ্ট তারিখসহ কোনো calendar প্রকাশ করে না। তাই পরের window খোলার আগে কী প্রস্তুতি নেওয়া যায়, Banglalink Digitalyst সম্পর্কে Banglalink কী জানিয়েছে, আর কোন বিষয়গুলো তারা জানায়নি, এই guide এ সেগুলো একসঙ্গে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

What Digitalyst is

Digitalyst is Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd.'s internship programme for undergraduate students. On its own careers page, Banglalink calls it a place where "theory meets practice", inside what it describes as a digital first organisation. It sits alongside the company's other named programmes: SAP for fresh graduates, femPOWER for female graduates in sales, Ennovators, Womentor, Campus2Corporate and the Aspire Campus Ambassador Program.

Interns work inside an assigned team. Banglalink's own Digitalyst job posts list the work as research, business cases, reports, presentations and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Interns are also expected to share process ideas and work with the Employer Branding team as Banglalink ambassadors.

What Banglalink has published

Who can apply

Eligibility এর শর্তটি খুব ছোট, কিন্তু পুরো বিষয়টি নির্ধারণ করে দেয়: আপনার সব academic course completed থাকতে হবে। বাস্তবে এটি সেই internship semester এর জন্য তৈরি, যা বাংলাদেশের অধিকাংশ university bachelor's degree এর শেষে require করে। দ্বিতীয় বা তৃতীয় বর্ষের কোনো student এর এখনও course বাকি থাকলে সে এই condition পূরণ করে না। আবার অনেক আগে graduation শেষ করা একজন graduate ও এখানে target candidate নন, কারণ Banglalink Digitalyst কে undergraduate students দের জন্য programme হিসেবে describe করে। তাই এই programme ঘিরে পরিকল্পনা করার আগে আপনার department এর সঙ্গে নিশ্চিত হয়ে নিন ঠিক কোন সময় আপনার শেষ course শেষ হবে।

Unlike Nestlé's Nesternship, which asked for a CGPA of 3.00 in its last two circulars, Digitalyst's job posts don't name a CGPA cutoff or a required subject. That widens the door, but it also means more people walk through it.

When it opens

Banglalink's careers page says it plainly: "We recruit three times a year: At Q1, Q2, Q3." It does not publish dates. Here is what we could verify.

"Three times a year" শুনতে অনেক সুযোগ মনে হতে পারে, কিন্তু বিষয়টির আরেকটি দিকও আছে। Window অল্প সময়ের জন্য খোলা থাকে, আর circular দেখার পর CV তৈরি শুরু করলে CV ready হওয়ার আগেই deadline চলে যেতে পারে। Dec 2025 window প্রায় দুই সপ্তাহ খোলা ছিল। তাই window খোলার আগেই CV প্রস্তুত রাখুন এবং Banglalink এর official channels follow করুন: banglalink.net এর careers page, Banglalink এর LinkedIn page এবং Banglalink Careers Facebook page। অন্য কেউ circular share করলে apply করার আগে official source এর সঙ্গে সেটি মিলিয়ে নিন।

Is it paid?

আমরা যতগুলো Digitalyst job post দেখেছি, প্রতিটিতেই "paid internship" বলা হয়েছে। কিন্তু কোনো official post এ amount উল্লেখ করা হয়নি। বিভিন্ন blog এবং social media comment এ কিছু figure পাওয়া যায়, কিন্তু official source থেকে সেগুলোর কোনোটি confirm করা যায়নি। তাই এখানে কোনো number দেওয়া হয়নি। Offer পেলে stipend সম্পর্কে HR কে জিজ্ঞেস করা একেবারেই স্বাভাবিক। কারণ আপনি তাদের জন্য 12 weeks, full time কাজ করবেন।

How selection works: what's known and what isn't

Digitalyst selection এর stages Banglalink এখনো প্রকাশ করেনি। Job post গুলোতে শুধু CV সহ apply করতে বলা হয়েছে। Public platform এ candidate দের reported experience থেকে যে চিত্র পাওয়া যায়, তাতে process টি তুলনামূলকভাবে সংক্ষিপ্ত: প্রথমে CV screening, এরপর CV কেন্দ্রিক একটি short interview। কিছু candidate আরও জানিয়েছেন, তারা নিজেরা department choose করেননি। তাদের বক্তব্য অনুযায়ী Banglalink profile দেখে placement করেছে এবং interview এর কয়েক দিন আগে department জানিয়েছে। এই reports কোন কোন year এর জন্য প্রযোজ্য, তা আমরা confirm করতে পারিনি। তাই এগুলোকে একটি rough idea হিসেবে দেখুন, fixed rule হিসেবে নয়। Process যাই হোক, একটি বিষয় পরিষ্কার: interview যদি আপনার CV কেন্দ্রিক হয়, তাহলে CV তে থাকা প্রতিটি বিষয় আপনাকে পরিষ্কারভাবে explain করতে পারতে হবে। প্রতিটি project, প্রতিটি club role এবং প্রতিটি number নিয়ে কথা বলার জন্য প্রস্তুত থাকুন।

How big is it?

Banglalink hasn't published intake numbers on its careers page. The one figure on record comes from Monzula Morshed, Banglalink's Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, writing in The Daily Star on 1 May 2025: Digitalyst takes 60 to 120 students a year from more than 20 public and private universities. That's across three intakes, so any one window is small. Treat it as a 2025 figure. The company hasn't said whether it has changed.

What happens after Digitalyst

At the end of the 12 weeks you submit a report on your assigned project. Banglalink evaluates it and issues an official completion letter.

একটি বিষয় পরিষ্কারভাবে বলা দরকার: Digitalyst শেষ করার পর Banglalink কোনো job promise করে না। Completion letter হলো internship এর certificate, offer letter নয়। Banglalink জানিয়েছে, 2025 cohorts এর তিনজন Digitalyst পরে SAP এবং femPOWER এ সুযোগ পেয়েছেন। দুটিই আলাদা programme এবং তাদের নিজস্ব recruitment process রয়েছে। তাই Digitalyst একটি ভালো starting point হতে পারে, তবে এর পরের job search এর জন্যও আলাদা করে পরিকল্পনা রাখা প্রয়োজন।

What to get ready now

If your courses finish in 2027, this is worth doing before the next window.

• Pin down your course completion month. The whole eligibility rests on it.
• Rewrite your extracurriculars around what you did. See the note below.
• Get comfortable with Microsoft Office. It's the one tool the job posts name. Expect to build reports and presentations.
• Be able to talk through every line of your CV, in English and in Bangla.
• Think about location. Regional placements exist. If you're based outside Dhaka, say so when you apply.
• Have your CV finished now, in a format a recruiter can scan fast.

"A good balance between academic and extracurricular activities" মানে এই নয় যে আপনাকে club president হতে হবে। এর অর্থ হলো, class এর বাইরেও আপনি কিছু করেছেন, সেটি আপনার CV তে দেখা উচিত। Competition, club project, part time job, volunteering অথবা research assistant role, এগুলোর যেকোনোটি relevant হতে পারে, যতক্ষণ আপনি পরিষ্কারভাবে বলতে পারেন কী করেছেন এবং এর ফল কী হয়েছে। শুধু "Member, Business Club" লিখলে খুব বেশি কিছু বোঝা যায় না। কিন্তু "Organised a 200 person career session for the Business Club" লিখলে আপনার contribution অনেক বেশি স্পষ্ট হয়।

A word of caution

Job post অনুযায়ী application Banglalink এর নিজস্ব channels এর মাধ্যমে CV সহ জমা দিতে হয়। কোথাও কোনো fee এর উল্লেখ আমরা পাইনি। কেউ যদি টাকা নিয়ে "get you into Digitalyst" করার কথা বলে, অথবা official channels এর বাইরে আপনার details চায়, সেটি Banglalink এর process নয়। কিছু share করার আগে official channels থেকে বিষয়টি verify করে নিন।
