Territory Officer

About the Role

British American Tobacco Bangladesh is seeking a Territory Officer to support its commercial operations and contribute to the company’s ambition of building a Smokeless World. The role focuses on territory management, retailer relationships, commercial execution, and achievement of business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for external partners, leading commercial discussions and negotiations.
• Analyse, report, and interpret store-specific data to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
• Build, strengthen, and maintain strong business partnerships with retailers.
• Educate retailers responsibly on product and category knowledge, as well as trading terms.
• Ensure effective execution of strategies and campaigns across the assigned territory.
• Meet and exceed agreed performance targets.
• Continuously develop skills to adapt to industry changes and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Customer-focused mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
• Strong selling, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and remain results-oriented.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• Willingness to take on stretch challenges and deliver within deadlines.
• Openness to working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
• Hands-on experience in sales and achieving sales targets.
