Job Overview

British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an opportunity for a Team Leader within its Operations function.

The role focuses on shift operations, production targets, machine run ability, product quality, maintenance coordination, process reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and control shift operations to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Manage planned downtime and ensure smooth machine run ability to achieve Master Production Schedule targets while supporting the IWS philosophy.
• Ensure product quality by meeting agreed processes, reducing/eliminating market complaints, and safeguarding product integrity.
• Coordinate and support maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Drive breakthrough results in process reliability, planned and unplanned downtime, aligned with the Master Production Schedule.
• Provide prompt feedback on machine performance to IWS/Technical teams.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Preferred Disciplines

• Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
• Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE)
• Mechanical Engineering (ME)
• Related fields

Additional Requirements

• Fresh graduates with prior extracurricular activity (ECA) experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building close working relationships across diverse teams.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
