Citi is looking for an Assistant Manager, Cash and Trade Processing to join the Cross Border Fund Transfer Unit (Commercial Remittance) under Operations and Transaction Services.

The role will be responsible for managing Cross Border Fund Transfer (CBFT) operations, ensuring transaction accuracy, regulatory compliance, process controls, and delivering effective client support.

Key Responsibilities

Cross Border Fund Transfer Operations

• Ensure smooth execution of Cross Border Fund Transfer (CBFT) operations and timely client service.
• Provide CBFT transaction related advisory support to customers in coordination with Product and Relationship Managers.
• Ensure timely FX reporting and feeder unit reporting for CBFT transactions.
• Participate in sanity testing and UAT activities for CBFT related product processors.

Process Control & Compliance

• Ensure appropriate controls and procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Follow Local Operating Manuals (LOMs), identify process gaps, and coordinate resolution.
• Conduct timely reviews of LOMs, Product Control Functional Checklists (PCFC), and other applicable activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and Bangladesh Bank audit deliverables.
• Prepare and complete Corrective Action Plan (CAP) deliverables within timelines.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance client relationships.
• Support business value proposition initiatives through operational excellence.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve service quality.

Team Development & Project Support

• Share operational knowledge and best practices among team members.
• Support projects and assignments assigned by management and senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking operations or transaction services.
• Experience in Cash Management, Cross Border Fund Transfer, or Commercial Remittance will be preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Banking Diploma.
• Completion of Foundation Training with current bank.
• Candidates must fulfill applicable regulatory requirements, including banking professional examination and foundational training guidelines as per Bangladesh banking regulations.
