Syngenta ASPIRE Internship: What Syngenta Has Said, What It Hasn't, and How to Get Ready

"ASPIRE internship Bangladesh" লিখে Search করলে দুটি ভিন্ন বিষয় একসঙ্গে চলে আসে। একটি হলো Syngenta Bangladesh এর ASPIRE Internship Program, এই guide টি সেটি নিয়েই। অন্যটি Banglalink এর Aspire Campus Ambassador Program, যা একটি telecom company এর campus campaign role। নাম একই, কিন্তু এর বাইরে আর কোনো মিল নেই। Syngenta এর ASPIRE হলো agriculture company এর ভেতরে তিন মাসের internship, যেখানে এমন students দের জন্য সুযোগ থাকে যারা internship ছাড়া সব academic credit complete করেছে। এই guide এ Syngenta এ বিষয়ে কী জানিয়েছে, কী জানায়নি এবং পরের batch খোলার আগে কীভাবে প্রস্তুতি নিতে পারেন, সেগুলো তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

What ASPIRE is

ASPIRE is Syngenta Bangladesh Limited's internship programme. In its own posts, Syngenta describes it as a learning journey with "one of the world's top MNCs", where interns "tackle different projects that directly impact our business". It runs in numbered batches. Syngenta announced its 7th batch in April 2025 and posted on 27 November 2025 that applications for the 8th batch would be "live soon". Applications go through a Google Form linked from those posts.

The company behind it matters for your interview. Syngenta Bangladesh is a joint venture: Syngenta AG of Switzerland holds 60 percent and the Government of Bangladesh holds 40 percent through the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC). Its roots here go back to Ciba Geigy, which started in Bangladesh in 1973. It works in two areas, crop protection and seeds.

What Syngenta has published, and what it hasn't

Who can apply

সবকিছু নির্ধারণ করে যে condition, সেটি হলো "all academic credits completed except internship"। বাস্তবে এর অর্থ হলো Bangladeshi universities এ bachelor's degree এর শেষ দিকে থাকা internship semester। আপনার এখনও course বাকি থাকলে আপনি এখনো eligible নন। Circular এ Business এবং Science এই দুটি academic background এর কথাও বলা হয়েছে এবং Undergraduate অথবা Graduate students apply করতে পারবে বলা হয়েছে। তাই internship stage এ থাকা MBA বা MS student ও এই wording এর মধ্যে পড়তে পারেন। তবে কোন কোন Science subject count করবে, সেটি circular এ বলা হয়নি। Agriculture, chemistry, biology এবং environmental science agriculture company এর জন্য natural fit বলে মনে হতে পারে, কিন্তু এটি আমাদের interpretation, Syngenta এর official rule নয়। আপনার subject এই সীমার কাছাকাছি হলে form পূরণ করার আগে পরের circular ভালোভাবে পড়ে নিন।

Compare that with the two internships we covered earlier in this series. Banglalink's Digitalyst takes any background, and Nestlé's Nesternship asked for a CGPA of 3.00. ASPIRE sits in between: no CGPA line that we could find, but a subject line.

When it opens

Syngenta কোনো batch calendar প্রকাশ করে না। তাদের own posts এবং circulars দেখে মনে হয়, বছরে roughly দুইটি intake হয়েছে, একটি spring এ এবং আরেকটি বছরের দ্বিতীয়ার্ধের দিকে। April 2026 এ Syngenta যে Google Form ব্যবহার করেছিল, সেটি এখন closed। পরের form প্রায় নিশ্চিতভাবেই নতুন link হবে, তাই পুরোনো saved link কাজে আসবে না। Syngenta Bangladesh এর Facebook এবং LinkedIn pages follow করে রাখুন, কারণ batch এর post সেখানেই আগে আসে। আর post প্রকাশের পর CV বানানো শুরু না করে তার আগেই CV ready রাখুন।

Is it paid?

Syngenta এর কোনো post এ আমরা stipend এর figure পাইনি, এবং job sites এ reproduced circular এও কোনো figure উল্লেখ নেই। Syngenta এর own ASPIRE posts এর নিচে সবচেয়ে বেশি প্রশ্ন দেখা যায় internship paid কি না এবং কারা apply করতে পারে, কিন্তু Syngenta publicভাবে কোনোটিরই উত্তর দেয়নি। তাই আমরা কোনো number দিচ্ছি না। Offer পেলে HR কে stipend সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করা একদম স্বাভাবিক। আপনি তিন মাস তাদের জন্য full time কাজ করবেন।

How selection works: what's known and what isn't

Syngenta ASPIRE এর selection stages প্রকাশ করেনি। তাদের posts এ শুধু form এর মাধ্যমে apply করতে বলা হয়েছে। Online এ candidate reports পাবেন, আর কিছু general Syngenta interview reviews এ online game based test, group discussion এবং panel interviews এর কথা আছে। তবে সেগুলোর বেশিরভাগই অন্য দেশ এবং অন্য role এর review, তাই আমরা সেগুলোকে Bangladesh এর ASPIRE process হিসেবে দেখাচ্ছি না। বাংলাদেশে বড় internship programs এ যেসব stage বেশি দেখা যায়, সেগুলোর জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিন, যেমন CV screen, কোনো ধরনের test, group discussion এবং interview। এর বাইরে কিছু থাকলে সেটিকে unconfirmed হিসেবেই ধরুন।

The field programme: the clearest clue Syngenta has given

Syngenta ASPIRE সম্পর্কে তারা যে সবচেয়ে useful তথ্য প্রকাশ করেছে, সেটি company কী value করে তার একটি ধারণা দেয়। September 2025 এ Batch 07 তিন দিনের একটি off site trip এ গিয়েছিল, যেটিকে Syngenta বলেছে Syngenta Experience Program। Interns retail shops visit করেছে, sales colleagues এর সঙ্গে সময় কাটিয়েছে, farmer meetings এ বসেছে এবং R&D site, Learning and Development Park, একটি seed production unit ও vegetable trial fields দেখেছে। তাই আপনি finance বা supply chain এ intern করলেও field এ নিয়ে যাওয়া হতে পারে বলে প্রস্তুত থাকুন। Interview এ Bangladeshi farmers, crops এবং seasons নিয়ে কথা বলতে পারা শুধু "working at an MNC" নিয়ে general কথা বলার চেয়ে বেশি useful হবে।

A few things you can read up on without any inside access: Syngenta Bangladesh's own site describes its crop insurance work (Astha), its salinity tolerant rice project for coastal farmers (GoGrow), the Cropwise app, and its vegetable seed exports. In November 2025 it also signed an agreement with The Daily Star for the Prayash Agriculture Scholarship for final year agriculture students. Knowing two or three of these by name is an easy way to show you looked beyond the internship post.

What happens after ASPIRE

Syngenta ASPIRE এর পর job পাওয়ার কোনো promise দেয় না। Interns কে permanent roles এ convert করা হবে, এমন কোনো statement আমরা পাইনি। Graduate route একটি আলাদা programme এবং এর নিজস্ব criteria আছে। January 2026 এ Syngenta Bangladesh তাদের Graduate Talent Programme open করেছিল 2024 বা তার পরে graduation করা এবং minimum CGPA 3.5 থাকা candidates দের জন্য, marketing, finance, supply chain এবং manufacturing এ। Applications 31 January 2026 এ closed হয়েছে। তাই ASPIRE কে experience এবং CV তে একটি strong line হিসেবে দেখুন, আর job search আলাদাভাবে plan করুন।

What to get ready now

আমরা যে ASPIRE posts দেখতে পেরেছি, সেগুলোতে form এর মাধ্যমে apply করতে বলা হয়েছে এবং screening এর আগে written test এর কোনো mention নেই। তাই প্রথম round এ আপনার CV গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এখন তিনটি কাজ করা worth it। প্রথমত, আপনার department এর সঙ্গে confirm করুন আপনার last course ঠিক কোন month এ শেষ হবে। দ্বিতীয়ত, CV এর lines এমনভাবে লিখুন যেখানে আপনি কী করেছেন এবং তার outcome কী ছিল সেটি বোঝা যায়, শুধু title নয়। "Member, Agri Club" তেমন কিছু বলে না, কিন্তু "Ran a soil testing session for 40 students" অনেক বেশি স্পষ্ট। তৃতীয়ত, company সম্পর্কে basic বিষয়গুলো জেনে রাখুন: Syngenta Bangladesh হলো এমন একটি joint venture যেখানে Syngenta AG এর 60 percent ownership এবং BCIC এর মাধ্যমে Government of Bangladesh এর 40 percent ownership রয়েছে, আর এখানে এর roots Ciba Geigy পর্যন্ত 1973 সালে ফিরে যায়।

A short checklist before the next batch post:

• Course completion month confirmed with your department.
• Subject fit checked. Business or Science, and be ready to say why your subject suits an agriculture company.
• CV finished, one page, with outcomes rather than titles.
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at a level where you can build a clean report without help.
• Two or three Syngenta Bangladesh initiatives you can talk about by name.
• Notifications on for Syngenta Bangladesh's Facebook and LinkedIn pages.

A word of caution

Applications Syngenta এর own Facebook এবং LinkedIn posts থেকে linked Google Form এর মাধ্যমে নেওয়া হয়েছে। কোথাও আমরা কোনো fee পাইনি। কেউ ASPIRE এ "get you into ASPIRE" করার জন্য টাকা চাইলে, অথবা এমন কোনো form পাঠালে যেটি Syngenta এর official pages থেকে linked নয়, সেটি Syngenta এর process নয়। কোনো details দেওয়ার আগে link টি Syngenta Bangladesh এর own page এর সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে দেখুন।

Syngenta hasn't said how it screens ASPIRE applications. But when the first round is a form and a CV, the CV has to do the work. Applying to a multinational means you need an ATS friendly resume.
