About the Role

The Manager, Production – HTL oversees and optimizes daily manufacturing operations to ensure customer orders are delivered within required lead times. The role is responsible for operational output, machine and labor utilization, process improvements, sample development, quality standards, and continuous safety compliance across production departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervisors and planners to ensure customer orders and priority shipments are delivered according to promised lead times and dates.
• Execute Capex planning aligned with operational forecasting and manage cost evaluations within Oracle.
• Enforce quality systems and procedures to meet required standards, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions for failures.
• Optimize machine and personnel utilization in collaboration with planners and supervisors to maximize production output, UEE, and UPLH.
• Provide technical and administrative support to achieve targeted sampling lead times, high quality, and new sample developments in partnership with GPD.
• Evaluate best practices across key sites to implement new processes, improve contribution margins, and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Apply and instruct Lean problem-solving approaches with supervisors and operators to address production-related issues.
• Drive cost savings and sustainable engineering projects to optimize material utilization, reduce scrap, and achieve target productivity levels.
• Collaborate with pre-press, supply chain, material planning, and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted production, TPM execution, automation, new machine installations, and product deployments.
• Oversee health and safety requirements, multi-skilling initiatives, departmental discipline, housekeeping, and cross-functional operational coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in production and manufacturing operations.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and operational management.
• Strong technical, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Root Cause Analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle) and production planning tools.
