Senior System Administrator (AS400)

The Role

• Maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications and manage CNC tasks: package builds, deployments and security administration
• Maintain and support IBM Power Systems, HMC, VIOS, external storage and partition management (LPARs)
• Manage BRMS backups, maintain PowerHA environments and lead semi-annual Disaster Recovery testing
• Perform routine OS upgrades, apply PTFs, update firmware and manage third-party tools such as Robot and Cilasoft
• Ensure systems align with SOX controls, internal audits and governance policies
• Participate in a rotational shift schedule, including occasional 24/7 on-call availability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on administration experience with IBM i (OS/400, iSeries, V7R1 or newer)
• 3+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or OneWorld system administration
• Proven experience executing full JD Edwards platform upgrades and with WebLogic Application Server
• Proven experience managing PowerHA environments and deep expertise with BRMS
• Strong knowledge of HMC and managing LPARs via VIOS; proficient in SQL and core networking concepts
